The 2005 Teaching and Learning Symposium presents "The Engaged Classroom: Strategies for Teaching Today's Students" - May 23-24,2005

This annual event brings together those who teach and support learning at UW-Madison to explore the challenges of connecting with college students and share practical ideas to improve teaching and learning. This year's focus is on engagement, the key to effective pedagogy. How can we create and nurture engaged students in our classrooms? Students change, technology changes, learning styles change - and we need an ever-expanding repertoire of strategies to call upon.
