Catherine Stephens offers sessions at the T&L Symposium

On Wednesday, May 30th, Catherine Stephens, Prof. Michael Connors, and Dan LaValley presented a session on Second Life at the annual UW-Madison Teaching and Learning Symposium. The session entitled, Virtual Classrooms in the Arts, highlighted the work that Catherine, Michael and Dan have invested in creating learning opportunities for UW-Madison students in the virtual world, Second Life.

Catherine also helped moderate Friday's "ComETS Sampler" which included an overview of technology initiatives from Learning Support Services, UW Libraries, DoIT's Student Peer Training, Computer-Aided Engineering, education initiaves in Second Life, and an overview of webcasting from the ICS, Pyle Center.
