On Wednesday, May 30th, Catherine Stephens, Prof. Michael Connors, and Dan LaValley presented a session on Second Life at the annual
UW-Madison Teaching and Learning Symposium. The session entitled, Virtual Classrooms in the Arts, highlighted the work that Catherine, Michael and Dan have invested in creating learning opportunities for UW-Madison students in the virtual world,
Second Life.
Catherine also helped moderate Friday's "
ComETS Sampler" which included an overview of technology initiatives from Learning Support Services, UW Libraries, DoIT's Student Peer Training, Computer-Aided Engineering, education initiaves in Second Life, and an overview of webcasting from the ICS, Pyle Center.
