MERIT is pleased to offer a new meeting space in the Teacher Education Building (225 N. Mills) for up to 10 people. Located on the North East corner of the first floor, room 118 Teacher Education will become available for scheduling and use on Tuesday, February 23. The room is equipped with a large conference table, 60″ LCD display monitor, computer, web cam, speakers, laptop inputs, markerboard and an old-fashioned chalk board. Scheduling the space is easy, using the education.ems.wisc.edu web portal. Keys to the room are checked out to individuals at the Circulation Desk in the MERIT library on the 3rd floor of Teacher Education.
MERIT will be hosting an open house for those interested in using the space, Tuesday, February 23, 11AM-1PM. Stop in for a cup of hot chocolate, check out the new space, and take part in a demo of Google Hangout, and Kaltura’s new Capture Space Lite technology for lecture capture. We welcome sharing of ideas for how you plan to use the new meeting space.
