If you haven’t already marked your calendars for the featured event of the Spring 2016 Scholarly Publishing Series, now is the time!
Friday, February 19
11:00 am-12:30 pm
at the Pyle Center
We are pleased to bring Charles Watkinson, University of Michigan Press and University of Michigan Libraries, to campus to speak about: Changing Models of Scholarly Publishing: Why Should Authors, Librarians, and Administrators Care?
Charles’ experiences provide insight into the perspectives of scholarly publishing stakeholders from the early career researcher to the publisher and from the funder to the tenure committee. Join us on February 19 to learn from those insights and to advance the campus-wide conversation about today’s publishing landscape.
Full event details are available here. Refreshments will be provided, so please register for this event in order to help us plan. For questions about accessibility or to request accommodations please contact Carrie Nelson at 608-283-8924 or email@example.com.
This event is part of the Spring 2016 Scholarly Publishing Series, sponsored by the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research and Graduate Education, UW-Madison Libraries, and the Office of the Provost. Visit the Scholarly Publishing Series website for more information about the series.
