Instructional computer lab with one instructor and 13 student workstations.  Computers are Dell Optiplex 7010 computers with Windows 7 (x64), Quad Core i7 3.4 GHz processors, 16GB memory, 1TB storage, DVD-RW drives, and Nvidia Quadro 600 graphics cards.  Two Epson Perfection v700 photo scanners with 4800/6400 dpi optical resolution, 48-bi color depth, and maximum document size of 8.5×11.7 inches.  SmartBoard interactive whiteboard with projector attached to instructor workstation.  Seating capacity is 24.

  • UW-Madison School of Education faculty, staff, and student groups sponsored by a School of Education department or unit
  • UW-Madison faculty, staff, and student groups sponsored by a UW-Madison department or unit
  • UW-System faculty and staff when classes are not in session
  • PK12 community when classes are not in session
  • Guests of the UW-Madison School of Education when classes are not in session
  • Reservations are process on a first-come, first-serve basis

Restrictions

  • Reservations must be made through the School of Education EMS
  • Priority is granted to SoE classes using MERIT resources and where MERIT lab space is the primary classroom space specified in the UW Timetable
  • Available for regularly scheduled SoE classes, occasional class use, or occasional meetings
  • Subject to MERIT Space Policies
