Upgrade to Windows 10 by January 2020
Calling all Windows 7 users! MERIT is eager to connect with you this semester to schedule your upgrade to Windows 10. Microsoft ends support for Windows 7 in January 2020, after which time a Windows 7 computer will no longer be able to connect to the campus network. We can and must prevent this from happening to you!
Contact us at helpdesk@education.wisc.edu to schedule your Windows 10 upgrade now. Staff are standing by and ready to assist.
MERIT Bids Farewell to Donna Meicher
Donna Meicher, MERIT’s Reserves Coordinator and Technical Services Librarian, has retired from UW-Madison after 41 years! From being a vet tech early on, to her work at Middleton Health Sciences Library (pre-Ebling), and 21 years with MERIT library, she has been an incredible coworker. In recognition of her outstanding work, Donna won the School of Education Distinguished Staff Achievement award in 2008. We celebrate Donna’s accomplishments and wish her well.
