Kevin Tschopik joins MERIT as the IT Consultant for Kinesiology. Kevin has been working with and supporting IT systems for over a decade, with most of his career built on user support and project management. Kevin has shared, “I’m incredibly excited to get started at MERIT/Kinesiology. Helping find solutions to abnormal problems is where I operate best, so I’m looking forward to both helping out in the department and managing the upcoming move.”
Kris Wolf is the new Public Services Manager for MERIT Library. Kris comes to MERIT after spending the last 5 years working as a librarian at Madison Area Technical College. While at Madison College they focused their work on engagement & inclusion, partnership building, and teaching & learning. Kris holds a Masters of Library and Information Studies from the UW iSchool and undergraduate degrees in Communications and History, also from UW-Madison. Prior to becoming a librarian, they worked at UW-Madison Memorial Library in Access Services.
We also welcome Brad Lovell, MERIT’s Interim IT Services Coordinator. Brad is responsible for working with the IT student staff at our service desk and in field services, leading them in prioritizing and delivering top quality responses to support requests. Brad holds a degree in Computer Science from UW-Madison.
